I mean for real, I know SEALs and the like are trained to put up with some really heavy shit… but Steve has taken one punch after another, I’m talking twelve rounds with no one stepping in.
The man isn’t a superhero with no feelings/emotions, regardless of what Danny likes to tell him. Steve is a fictional human being based on REAL human beings, and those people? Pretty sure they need to talk to someone after being tortured, etc. So, yes, I too would love to see a character-centric episode where Steve actually deals with some of the traumatic bullshit he’s been through.
I honestly can’t believe that the show has not explored this. It really and truly amazes me. Such a great opportunity for Alex, for McG, for the show in general to really be extra-ordinary in a way that is different than any other show on TV. Don’t miss this opportunity, show!! You don’t need any stunt casting, you don’t need anyone but the 4 amazing actors you already have. Alex would kill this role with a vengeance! Please, please!! I am *hoping* we are still building to something special in regards to this. I mean, damn…he’s fucking earned it! The fans have earned it!!
