This year Donate Life America has chosen the theme of ‘Hope’ for Donate Life Month, and what better way to inspire hope than to get creative with the two colours that represent hope for the thousands of people who are currently on the waiting list to receive a donor organ - Donate Life’s blue and green.
On April 20th, Donate Life America are asking people to put their best blue and green fashion foot forward, and be part of Donate Life’s Virtual Fashion Show.
We here at the Alex O’Loughlin Fans for Donate Life wish to help facilitate the success of this event. Hence we are running our own ‘Colours of Hope Campaign’ to encourage people to join in, have fun, and most of all, inspire hope on April 20th. *
Participation is easy:
Stuck for something to wear? Perhaps you feel like making more of a contribution financially? Then head to the following online stores and purchase any blue or green coloured item of your choice.
Once you’ve picked out your perfect outfit and accessories, get ready to flaunt it on the virtual catwalk. But don’t forget to take an extra photo for us. Whether you choose to a purchase an item at any of the stores above, or just decide to don an outfit from your own wardrobe, or even resurrect that crazy fancy dress costume you’ve had lying around for years, we want to see pictures of all Alex fans, and Donate Life supporters, who participate on April 20th.
Although we can never guarantee that Alex himself will see the end result, all photos we receive will be correlated into a photo collage, and shared with Alex’s publicist and representative, as well as Donate Life Hollywood Campaign Director, Tenaya Wallace.
The campaign will run from April 8th and finish on the 21st, the day after Donate Life’s Virtual Fashion Parade. Presentation of the photo collage will be made on the 30th of April, the final day of what we hope will be a fantastic and inspiring Donate Life Month for America 2012.
